- Dancer/Choreographer/Artist

 

 I’ve been moving and grooving ever since I could walk, but I didn’t start pursuing dance until quite recently. I grew up in Austin, Texas performing in school musicals and plays and being an active member of the austin theatre community. In the summer before my senior year of high school, I wanted to embrace theatre as my career and discovered that dance had been a huge factor that contributed to my passion for theatre. Whether it be a pas de deux between two dancing light bugs in “The Little Mermaid” or busting a few b-boy moves to “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice, the ability to story-tell through the language of the body has always been the most vital source of expression for me

 

I’ve worked tediously to increase my skills in Ballet, Music Theatre Dance, Hip-Hop, Interpretive, Modern, Funk, Pop & Locking, Folk, Tap, Freestyle, Contemporary, Partner, Street Dance, Waaking, Etc. ever since junior year of high school. My thesis for dancing is that each dancer has a story and a set of memories and emotions that line up with each particle that moves in their body, I want to expound my knowledge and capability in each style of dance in order to unhinge the memories and emotions that lie within me and be able to teach empathy to dancers via movement.
